Director: Anne Flournoy
The “Louise Log” is a comedy series chronicling the life of a New York woman. She has a high-maintenance husband, an addiction to caffeine, problems with time management and an over-active inner voice. In this episode, her facade and her boundaries are put to a new test.

quite brilliant and incisive.
very funny and right on the mark.
really great stuff here. love the bit about the wife wearing the burqa (sp?).
painfully realistic, honest, and hysterically funny. we are all Louise!
so great. more of Louise, please.
a hilarious episode of an insightful and very engaging series
I’m a huge fan of the Louise series … we can all se a bit of ourselves in her!
ah Louise! The life you lead…that voice in your head…that longing for…? I love The Louise Log! Louise is us… Or is it Louise is we…? Louise ‘R’ Us?
Outstanding and funny episode by a truly great director, Louise Flournay.
Thank you and more, Please?
The director of the Louise Log #13 is ANNE FLOURNAY, not Louise … but the show is really spectacular.
Thanks, again!
This is so interesting. I have followed this series & always want to know more!
A nod to Godard - the whispering narrator -
A twist on Woody Allen - the self-deprecating humor -
But put it all together, and the whole is uniquely Anne Flournoy. Makes me chuckle, giggle and guffaw.
I am crazy about the Louise Log. Not just because it is so New York. not just because I have a crush on Louise. But because it is so smart. This film driven by good writing and ideas gets my vote.
Tongue and cheeky and very sensual. I liked alot.
what a slice of life in the big city.so real , so true.what a writer.
Fabulous — the funniest of a very good series.
I am so amazed by this film. Beautifully done!
I like this film ,it is so funny and real, more please.
Love the whole series - keep it coming!
Great one of my top 5 favs. keep ‘em rolllin’
Nice concept but what is the added value of film? I find the acting, filming and editing quite poor. So I’m sorry if I don’t understand all the positive vibes for this film. It could’ve been great if they had spent more than a day filming and editing it.
I love all the Louise Logs, but #13 is one of my favorites.
I loved this film. The creativity is remarkable! This film gets my vote!!
I did not like this movie, and I think it didn’t deserve to win. To bad that the mainstream still is not ready to vote for a movie that isn’t this obvious. Good day.
watched because a friend asked me and enjoyed it especially the wispering
This piece of crap won? By 1 vote! I was watching the poll the entire week and every 3 minutes it systematically got one vote. Suspicious? Impasse was ahead 200 votes this afternoon! Smells like foul play to me. I prey there won’t be a Louise Log # 14. Spare me.
word @ filmfreak.. can’t even fully watch this, it’s just irritates me.. Impasse was so impressive, just by cheating (alot of proxies whatever) this movie won. I say ban it, this movie ain’t worthy the title.
Sorry, but what a joke.
it’s like this film is directed by a first grade student, not even mentiont the crappy actors.
IMPASSE FOR THE WIN!!!!…
REEL 13, this film has won by cheating.
I am a writer and have a Renovation company…now I know where the hell the voices in my head have come from…very good!!!
How many of us CAN”T identify with that never-ending little voice…she is a validation for everyman(woman). More Louise please… a well-deserved win!!
I like the film, happy that my friend asked me to watch it.
This is a fantastic film. Very creative!!!!!!
Hysterical in more ways than one; so real, pitiful, and sexy. Do I dare say I identify with the series? Bravo! Well deserved win.
This movie won ?
OMG
If Anne’s work gets aired on Channel 13 it will restore my faith in public television.
Impasse was ahead by at least 100 votes all week and loses by one vote? RECOUNT!
In the movie and TV environment we live in, everything is over the top. Most films and certainly all TV, are the product of a team. And the jokes become overwhelming. That’s not what the thread of comedy is like in real life. Not dozens of jokes piled one on the other but rather tracing the fun as it emerges from the tapestry of daily experience.
The singular voice of writer/film maker Anne Flournoy comes through loud and clear. Her vision is Louise and is one we can relate to in its dailyness. A wonderful, breath of fresh air.
This is absolutely fantastic- Ms. Cook does a wonderful job playing Louise.
…this is very good work. Irresistible, funny, and surprising. There should be more programming such as this.
