You can’t beat “Lady and the Tramp” for a great date scene. I also suggest “Shallow Hal” and “My Super Ex-Girlfriend.”
One of my most favorite date scenes is the one between Michael Ontkean and Harry Hamlin in “Making Love”. A close second is the picnic scene between James Wilby and Hugh Grant in James Ivory’s “Maurice”. And a close third is the river rendezvous between Rupert Everett and Cary Elwes in 1984’s “Another Country”.
