Slideshow: 10 Ways to Make a Mummy
July 8th, 2008 at 10:09 am

In a morbidly fascinating new documentary, NOVA gains exclusive access to forensic scientists and local police authorities investigating two mysterious murder cases — both committed over 2,000 years ago. The corpses were perfectly preserved in waterlogged Irish peat bogs, and it’s up to archaeologists to solve the whodunnit.

You can watch “The Perfect Corpse” Tuesday, July 8 at 8pm on Thirteen. Watch a preview of the documentary at NOVA online.

Meanwhile, examine the natural forces and artificial techniques that have created a wide range of mummies around the world in this slideshow.

Robert Says:

I do not see the purpose of this program. It is regretfully too much like the CSI shows on the network. I watch PBS for a better choice in programs but this does not fit the bill.
