	Q: What inspired you to make this piece? A: Marty, the star of the film. He is an amazingly deft actor with an astounding emotional range, considering that he's a stuffed animal. Every time you shake him, he ends up with an entirely different and entirely distinct expression. Pensive. Ecstatic. Bemused. Tortured. Once I discovered his talent, remaking Chris Marker's 1962 classic French short LA JETÉE seemed an obvious choice. page 2
