Season nine opens with "Active Imaginations" (June 3), an hour of whimsical, surprising works, including Matt Goldman's humorous and visually enticing short, THE PERPETUAL LIFE OF JIM ALBERS, which takes its cue from the Hindu concept of reincarnation and karma, along with other classic and new works, including Korean-born artist Eunjung Hwang's BREAKFAST IN DESPAIR. Among the vintage works are: Red Grooms' classic 1966 FAT FEET, a veritable city symphony shot on 16mm, and Pat Oleszko's KNEEL AND DIMPLES (1979), a most unusual love story.
