Q: Do you have any intriguing and/or amusing behind-the-scenes stories about the making of this particular work?

A: The first time I screened the footage, I heard music playing along with the dialogue. After my initial confusion (and shock) I realized that whatever combination of equipment we were using was basically creating a very big radio antenna and sending that signal directly to my soundtrack. Luckily the point of the movie is that people are NOT talking to each other, so I didn't lose and vital dialogue, thank goodness. Looking back now at the original footage it's kind of funny to see which songs ended up accompanying which scenes -- there was everything from "Kung Fu Fighting" to Destiny's Child on that tape and it made for a very funny counter-narrative. Besides that though, the shoot itself was fantastic -- the most fun I've ever have had on a set.
