A: The death of my mother, a piece of music my husband created while she was dying, and an archive of super 8 films my dad had shot of my mother when she was young.
Q: Do you have any interesting and/or amusing behind-the-scenes stories about the making of this particular work?
A: It took my mother's death, and my husband's persistence for me to leave a cushy position as an art director at BMG, to reevaluate my life and pursue my own creative endeavors, which ultimately led to the making of this piece.
