The impact of regentrification upon East 7th Street is explored in "Not For Sale," by Yael Bitton. Joan Brooker/Michael Harry and Melissa Lohman tell compassionate stories about some of our local elders in the "Old Friends" episode, and in "Crossing Cultures" we hear from a wide representation of individuals who have experienced visiting or living in other cultures, including a high school student who is a member of the Prospect Park YMCA Teen Filmmaking Program.
These works poignantly capture the challenges inherent in crossing from one culture to another.
