Q: What inspired you to make this piece?
A: The inspiration for this piece has been our government's "war on terrorism" and the disconnect that I and many others experience between what we see, read and hear from the mainstream media in response to the war and our own feelings and analysis.
Q: Do you have any interesting behind-the-scenes stories about the making of this particular work?
A: I am consistently surprised at the willingness so many people have to share their feelings and thoughts about difficult issues to a stranger. People want to be heard.
