Q: How did you fund this particular film and what is your general experience in seeking funding?
A: This work is funded by myself. My only expense was an assistant editor, David Kausch, that I hired to do the technical things I had trouble with, and 8 tapes. Of course with a bigger project fund raising is a nightmare. It's my least favorite part of it all. Yet I find it such an intriguing challenge. When you do finally get a grant after 6 months of being in the desert it's always such a profound feeling of accomplishment.
