Reel NY
about the season Photo of Times Square film & video features

It is a beautiful film that harkens back to a more innocent time in America, a time when a boy could run away to Coney Island, and get back home in time to keep his mother from becoming worried. This is the 50th anniversary of the release of this academy-award nominated film. Who knew that 50 years later we would view the innocence and charm in this film with such extraordinary longing?

It appears that 9/11 did little to dampen the productivity of New York artists. If anything, it appears to have stoked their fires towards greater creativity.
