Q: What inspired you to make this piece?
A: I was inspired by the subject of love and loss and the challenge of how to animate it with drawings.
Q: Do you have any interesting and/or amusing behind-the-scenes stories about the making of this particular work?
A: I worked on the piece at home, in between other projects. It took a lot of determination, since every frame is hand-done. I learnt as I went along experimenting; sometimes the mistakes worked the best.
