Q: How do you define an independent film or video?
A: Independent Film and Video is made by film-makers who create work outside of the studio system. It is hard to define "independent" because as film-makers we are dependent on the wills of others so often, our crews, our budgets, our actors ... as an independent you try to tell a story without compromising its content for commercial purposes.
