The easy and unfettered style of this piece reflects the straightforward relationship between DuBowski and his grandmother. These two family members adore each other's individuality and forthrightness. They play as only the very old and the very young can play together; DuBowski teaches his grandmother to shoot video, and she advises him on his appearance while wearing her wigs. Gender roles are not so strictly adhered to here, as each breaks loose in his or her own way.
