The streets of New York become moving abstract paintings in REV. Using slow motion to exaggerate colors and blur moving objects, the film creates mesmerizing images of the cityscape. The recognizable image of a man carrying a briefcase repeats over and over, reflecting the circularity of life. The haunting music complements the immense urban jungle, as the soundscape takes us from image to image. Viewing this piece is much like floating -- even levitating -- above the concrete surfaces.
