This touching black-and-white "home" movie style documentary will strike a chord with local families struggling to listen to and understand one another. Slowly, and in an unassuming manner, this work reveals the interconnectedness of this family, from the vulnerability of the mother to the loving and sometimes critical support of her kids. Shot as a "day-in-the-life-of" the Weisser family, Susan Weisser describes her sometimes self-pitying diary entries -- showing her cycles of self-doubt followed by renewals of faith brought on by children Billy and Amanda.
