A: Mr. Rainer Werner Fassbinder -- he did so much. He is a master. David Lean -- what an eye. His adaptations of Dickens' novels. Tony Richardson -- what a heart. The black-and-white look of A TASTE OF HONEY. Maya Deren and Joseph Cornell -- the editing rocks. Let's not forget Edward Dmytryk for his noir-suspense and all the great Asian cinema.
