	Q: What inspired you to make this piece? A: Soon after 9/11, I had wanted to find a personal way to express my love for our city. I had met a fascinating man, Philip Coppola, who had spent much of his adult life archiving the New York City subway stations -- pointing out our city's unique beauty that few others had even noticed. It seemed like the perfect subject to create a small valentine to New York City and to showcase the amazing people who live here. page 2
