Q: What films/videos and makers have inspired you or influenced your work? And why?
A: In 1989, I saw Ken Russell's 1962 BBC documentary about the composer Elgar. The way he used music has influenced all my films. When I'm in Europe, I always watch the EURONEWS' "No Comment" which taught me the power of letting viewers make up their own minds.
