	Q: What inspired you to make this piece? A: After twelve years of making films about genocide and injustice, I became interested in how the spirit mends. I visited centers for the rehabilitation of victims of political torture both here and abroad, and learned that being in nature or working with nature can be a way to reconnect with society. I wondered if there were examples of this kind of healing here in New York, and began to explore a city I thought I knew. page 2
