	Q: What inspired you to make this piece? A: My mother grew up near Coney Island and I grew up listening to her magical and nostalgic stories of the place. Years later when I heard that the city was demolishing the Thunderbolt Coaster, one of Coney Island's icons, and learned that the woman who lived in the house underneath was still alive, I was drawn to tell her story. page 2
