Q: What films/videos and makers have inspired you or influenced your work? And why?
A: Well, obviously Albert and David Maysles and their film GREY GARDENS in particular inspired this piece. It was one of the most formative and exciting experiences in my life to receive Albert Maysles' support and input on my first film. He is a tremendous filmmaker who is dedicated to the integrity of documentary filmmaking and a nurturing supporter of young filmmakers.
