Q: What films/videos and makers have inspired you or influenced your work? And why?
A: When I was a kid I saw some really great independent animation on PBS. Also Disney, Saturday morning cartoons, newspaper comic strips, magazine illustrations... About 15 years ago, I went TV-free, so I'm no longer influenced by television. I'm still running on all the images I absorbed until I was 21.
I admire too many animators to mention. I will say that ALLEGRO NON TROPPO, by Bruno Bozzetto, is one of my favorite films ever.
