Q: What is the relationship between your work as a video/filmmaker and life in the New York metropolitan area?
A: As a filmmaker my curiosity and intellect is constantly stimulated by the changing sweep of street life in New York -- from people's faces and fashions, to the city's changing ads, signs and messages, the reflections of light off the rivers, glass and other surfaces, and the transforming nature of light itself, which changes the way the city looks, hour to hour and day to day.
