Q: Briefly tell us about how you made your film or video.

A: TO BE SEEN was shot with a Sony PD 170 camera over a period of many months, and edited in Final Cut Pro over a time span of even more months. The walls on the street are continuously changing, so I kept shooting whenever I could get my hands on a video camera. When I didn't have the use of a video camera, I took still pictures, which I incorporated into the film as motion graphic sequences (using Adobe After Effects). The visual style of the film reflects the visuality of the streets -- street art, graffiti, advertising images, people, ephemera, etc. ...
