Episode seven, "9/11 Fallout," looks at the aftermath of 9/11. LEGALLY BLIND, a half-hour work by Ingrid Rojas, explores themes of loss and alienation as it tells the story of Maria, a legally blind Colombian immigrant who lost her small candy store and her livelihood after the attack on the nearby World Trade Center. It is followed by DASTAAR: DEFENDING SIKH IDENTITY, a short by Kevin Lee that looks at the response of New York's Sikh community to bias, hate crimes and other injustices since September 11th, 2001. CARLA COPE, a short by Aileen McCormack, follows a woman's story of life, love, and loss after 9/11, while SOFT TARGETS, an experimental video by Shalom Gorewitz, explores the climate of fear that has developed in the United States since the tragedy.
