... The half-hour ONE TRACK MIND, by Jeremy Workman, is a documentary portrait of Philip Ashforth Coppola, who for 30 years has been consumed by a singular passion -- to catalogue and archive the mosaic, faience, terra cotta, tile, and steel artistry of the New York City subway system. Suzanne Wasserman's BROOKLYN: AMONG THE RUINS visits the home of Paul Kronenberg, a 60-year old subway buff who built a life-size replica of a 1930s motorman's subway cab in his tiny bedroom in Sheepshead Bay, Brooklyn. A SUBWAY SIREN, by Vince Tocce, is a portrait of a young Italian woman who wanders through the subway system playing her saxophone. This piece includes performance footage and interviews.
