Q: What films/videos and makers have inspired you or influenced your work? And why?
A: The list of films and filmmakers that have inspired me is too long to properly address. Before shooting my film, there were a few films that [I] saw [that] did inspire and influence [me]. AMERICAN MOVIE (Chris Smith) and HANDS ON A HARD BODY (S. R. Bindler) are two contemporary films that were able to ride the line of being very entertaining while also having good insight into the stories of the characters. WHO THE HELL IS JULIETTE? (Carlos Marcovich) reminded me that documentary is an art form.
