Q: What is the relationship between your work as a video/filmmaker and life in the New York metropolitan area?
A: My interest in documentary filmmaking is rooted in my interest in the stories of people often misunderstood or underrepresented. Having studied in England, I developed a new found interest in American urban subcultures. New York has a wealth of subcultures and stories that need to be told.
