A: (cont'd.) images and stories. It was my aim to be a witness to the events and inner lives of the characters, and give a deeper understanding of why and how their unorthodox techniques thrive in an urban environment. Through this, the viewer learns of the legacy of the black cowboys, the history and struggle of the federation, the lives they change, the drive of the members to bring to life the legacy of the black cowboy, and what role they play in the lives of the inner-city kids. The shooting, editing style combined with the sound track aim to replicate the slow, steady pace at which the characters live.
