Q: Briefly tell us about how you made your film or video.
A: The documentary was shot using a Canon XL1 and edited on Final Cut Pro. During production I had a four-person crew consisting of myself, my producer, a DP [director of photography], and sound [engineer]. In post[production], I had an editor. I spent a month with the cowboys, getting to know them and giving them time to get to know me. I did this to find the right character and stories and to gain their trust.
