	Q: What inspired you to make this piece? A: My goal in making THE FEDERATION OF BLACK COWBOYS is to generate awareness of, and appreciation for, a long-ignored legacy and community, and to reveal a positive side of a neighborhood with a bad reputation. I sought to tell the story of the amazing devotion and perseverance with which these genuine cowboys conquer this urban frontier, and how they in turn act as positive and steadfast male role models for the kids. The film is an intimate look at an unconventional way to make a difference and the success that this unique approach has had through the years. page 2
