Q: What films/videos and makers have inspired you or influenced your work? And why?
A: It's not so much any one film or filmmaker that has affected me, but it's the power of the interview, the person speaking in their own words, that has always had a profound effect on me. And I don't mean television news reporting or those Sunday morning talk shows, either. It's the interviews where the person reveals something, shares a part of their feelings, invites you into their life. That's the power of the interview and video.
