Q: Do you have any interesting behind-the-scenes stories about the making of this particular work?
A: This video was originally made for a cable access show I produced between 2000 and 2004 called "Product." The show was a sort of anthropological urban study on how fringe culture is produced and redistributed to the masses. I've always had a big obsession with pop and fringe culture, and New York is one of the best places to study it and reincorporate it into my work. Last year, I decided to update and re-edit the CRUTCHMASTER video and submit it to festivals.
