A: (cont'd.) about doing this video. My intent with this piece was to make a short portrait on a remarkable person whose art defies all categories.
Q: Briefly tell us about how you made your film or video.
A: We shot the interview on a three-chip digital Canon XL-1 camera. I had the luck of Crutch having documented much of his performance work with his friends, so I had access to some really great video footage. I edited the video on a Mac Titanium PowerBook using Final Cut Pro and Adobe After Effects®.
