	A: (cont'd.) In fact, the great thing about living in New York is with the intensity of its atmosphere, you can find artistic inspiration in the strangest, most fleeting places. Q: What films/videos and makers have inspired you or influenced your work? And why? A: Stylistically, HIGHWAY 403, MILE 39 was inspired by the films of Robert Bresson and Ingmar Bergman. In particular, I looked at Bresson's A MAN ESCAPED for its mostly silent, black-and-white treatment of a man's psychological journey in a small, claustrophobic location. ... page 9
