A:
(cont'd.) This marked my first foray into video, and shooting it in black and white, with a hand-sized one-chip DV camera (one of the first issued), I was very pleased with the result. We were able to fully document drama inside the car, giving the car interior the necessary large emotional space. The video footage that was shot was edited down on an early, pre-Final Cut Pro system, then blown up to film. At first the project was edited on a flatbed Steenbeck, but years later, when the project was finally finished, it was completed on a Final Cut Pro system.
