Q: What is the relationship between your work as a video/filmmaker and life in the New York metropolitan area?
A: Since I primarily shoot on the street, there is always something new to discover in New York and depending on my state of mind, what I see gets inscribed with new meaning. The rapid change of the landscape can be disconcerting. I am always a little sad when someplace I have filmed in the past disappears or changes.
