A: (cont'd.) I decided to use a slow shutter speed as I was shooting, thus slowing down and blurring the footage. I was searching for a different way of seeing that might reflect my brother's altered state of mind.

Q: Do you have any interesting behind-the-scenes stories about the making of this particular work?

A: The most startling aspect of making the film with my brother is that he does not recall any of it. He told me this when I first showed him the rough cut. "When did you shoot this? Did I say that? Where did you get those pictures of me?" [These] are some of the questions he asked.
