Q: What is the relationship between your work as a video/filmmaker and life in the New York metropolitan area?
A: My work as a videomaker is inextricably linked to life in New York City. I see stories and films all the time as I learn about New York. I'm also a passionate student of history and am constantly amazed at the wealth of history that is ignored by grand "historical films" about New York. As such, I hope I can make more films like SLUMMING IT. ...
