Q: Do you have any interesting behind-the-scenes stories about the making of this particular work?
A:
The hill (in reality) was the back end of a parking lot at a ski hill in New Jersey. We were shooting long, very cold night exteriors and on the third night, we were scheduled to shoot the final shot of the film, which required a crane, two small children, both actors, and a beat-up picture car. It did not require pouring rain, which came uninvited and seemingly scared away the crane and destroyed the picture car. The result was two small children standing in the pouring rain at the top of the hill, two bedraggled actors stuck with a dysfunctional car at the bottom of the hill, and a crew with no crane to shoot between the two. Needless to say, it was hell.
