Q: Briefly tell us about how you made your film or video.
A: The film was shot on 35 mm, but finished on HDCAM. The original footage was transferred through a one-light telecine to DVCAM and then edited (Final Cut Pro) and effected (Adobe After Effects®) for the rough cut. Once the picture was locked, we looked into the different finishing options and ended up finishing on HD because it was significantly cheaper. We went back to the negative, transferred the selects to HD, re-created the effects in Smoke, and outputted the master to HDCAM SR.
