Q: What inspired you to make this piece?
A: Fact, fiction, and fairy tales. I wanted to do something that was both structurally and visually nontraditional and have the ability to stray from reality. As such, the nursery rhyme provided an ideal framework, and the implicit darkness of the rhyme gave rise to the content.
