Q: What is the relationship between your work as a video/filmmaker and life in the New York metropolitan area?
A: I came to New York to go to film school and have stayed ever since. SLO-MO is all about my time in New York and how to survive in a city that refuses to stop when you do.
People say my career could have moved faster if I lived out in L.A., but I like playing the renegade who is 3,000 miles away from the center of it all. They leave you alone, and you have more time to think of your own projects rather than being thrown into the Hollywood machine.
