Q: Briefly tell us about how you made your film or video. A: I shot on a PD100, a small DVCAM-format camera, using [a] slow shutter speed, which blurs motion and provides highly saturated colors. I shot entirely handheld -- giving the impression that the camera is embodied by the interviewer, who is not seen but only heard and felt through the way the subject is shot -- and edited on Final Cut Pro. Q: Do you have any interesting behind-the-scenes stories about the making of this particular work? A: Zoey loves the video and feels as though I've made her a star. |
