Q: Do you have any interesting behind-the-scenes stories about the making of this particular work?
A: Several characters in the film were not professional actors, but people who live in the neighborhood. In the first film, SOFIA, both the lead actors had never been in front of a camera before. Stephanie Serga, who plays Sofia, came on board the day before principal photography. Although we had been holding open casting calls for over a month, no one suited the role. We had lost all hope and were considering omitting this story -- then Stephanie walked through the door, and we instantly knew we had found our Sofia.
