Q: What inspired you to make this piece?
A: As a director, I have always been interested in exploring the theme of urban isolation. LOWER EAST SIDE STORIES follows the journeys of four very isolated characters on the same day, in the same neighborhood. By using very little dialogue and emphasizing an intricate sound design, I have tried to create four very isolated realities.
