	Q: What inspired you to make this piece? A: As a painter, I had been through cubism and surrealism, and I was interested in how you could photograph that kind of imagery. Q: Tell us a little about the process involved in making this work. A: Ohhh, it was a magic, secret process of bending, twisting, and turning inside out. It was a self-funded project that involved my roaming about New York City with a camera over my shoulder. page 2
