	Q: What inspired you to make this piece? A: HARLEM SISTAS DOUBLE DUTCH is inspired by the characters in my feature-length script, WHEN SISTAS JUMP, about three women who finally unite through their love of double Dutch jump rope. I've done two award-winning documentaries on double Dutch jump rope (I WAS MADE TO LOVE HER: THE DOUBLE DUTCH DOCUMENTARY and THE DOUBLE DUTCH DIVAS!). Interest from a couple of studios brought about the concept of turning the docs into a narrative piece. The first draft of WHEN SISTAS JUMP made a lot of people take notice. Being that the film is set in Harlem, audiences enter a world that is rarely covered in fiction film. ... page 2
