Q: Briefly tell us about how you made your film or video.
A: The cinematographer, Darren Lew, used a Panasonic DV camera, and I edited on the Apple-based Final Cut Pro system. Digital technology literally makes a quick little piece like this one possible, because the equipment is relatively inexpensive, though there's something of the mystery and luminosity of film that I still feel digital technology doesn't quite get at. It's a trade-off, though: there are films being made now because of digital cameras and home editing systems, stories being told, that never would have been possible 10 or 20 years ago. This is good.
